Milo L. Cain, 83, died at Lake District Hospital on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014 in Lakeview.
Milo was born to George and Yetive (Harding) Cain on Sept. 19, 1930 in Klamath Falls. He grew up in Northern California and graduated from Potter Valley High School.
On Feb. 3, 1950 he and Janet Eddie were married in Potter Valley, Calif. They moved to the Alturas area of Modoc County, where Milo worked on a ranch and then in 1964, they purchased their present ranch on the Westside. He loved the ranching life and especially on the Westside.
Milo thoroughly enjoyed working with the youth and for a number of years was very active with the Junior Rodeo. Next to the youth, he had a real passion for working with horses.
Milo is survived by wife, Janet Cain of Westside; son, Raymond Cain of Westside; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Del Raymond of Prairie City; brother, Lewis Cain; half-brother, Ferd Shaffer and 3 grandchildren.
At Milo’s request, no services will be held.
