Louella Louise Merrill, 39, died at St. Charles Medical Center in Bend on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014.
Louella was born to Gerald and Neoma (Fields) Bratton in Fresno, Calif. on March 4, 1974. She grew up in Clovis, Calif. and graduated from Clovis High School in 1993, which was also when she met James Merrill and they were married Sept. 15, 1995 in Clovis.
They made their home in Clovis, until 2012 when they moved to Nampa, Idaho and then to Mt. Vernon before settling in Lakeview, where she had lived for the past year.
She thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, fishing and hiking. Probably her most favorite source of pleasure came from pulling practical jokes on her family.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, James Merrill of Lakeview; mother, Neoma Bratton of Clovis, Calif.; sons, Mason, and Bryan; daughter, Kristen, all of Lakeview; brothers, Jamie Bratton of Visalia, Calif.; and Rick Davis of Clovis, Calif.; sisters, Tammy Madrano, Shawn Bratton and Pamela Ragland of Clovis, Calif.; and two nieces and four nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Desert Rose Funeral Chapel on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 2:00 p.m.
