William H. (Bill) Pratt

William H. (Bill) Pratt, 86, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Lakeview.
Bill was born July 10, 1928 in Oregon City to Harold E. (Bud) Pratt and Roberta (Bobby) Pratt.
Joan and Bill were married in Reno, Nev. Aug. 12, 1948. His work included pulling greenchain and working in the woods driving a cat.  He eventually retired after his employment with PP&L.  He loved horses, helping to break, brand and shoe them.
He was a member of the Masonic and Elk’s lodges.  He also served on the Lake County Fair Board.
Joan and Bill enjoyed their winters on the Colorado River for many years.  They also traveled to Hawaii and Mexico to visit their daughters.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joan Bennett Honnold.
He is survived by his Wife Joan; Son and Daughter in-law, Steve and Linda; Daughters and Sons in-law, Leslie and Guy, Barbara and Mark; Grandchildren, Scott, Kaneeya and husband, Ryan, and Great-Grandchildren, Joshua, Brady, Elissa, Angie, Shawntae, Kaydence, Dante, Joell and Malachi.
There will be an open house at the Pratt home on Saturday, March 14, 20145 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.

Philip John Dorn

Philip John Dorn, 84, died at his Lakeview home on Friday, March 6, 2015.
He was born to George and Vera (Lewis) Dorn in Birkshire, England on Aug. 20, 1930.
He grew up in Birkshire, where he received his education, graduating from high school at the age of 14.  He immediately went to work at the Air Base in Englefield cleaning heavy equipment parts.
At the age of 18, Philip was drafted into the Royal Army where he was assigned to repairing and rebuilding military heavy equipment.  After his military service he landed in Canada on his twentieth birthday and eventually became a Canadian citizen.  He worked for the Canadian Division of General Motors for many years and ended his career as a test driver.
He migrated to the United States and settled in Beaverton and worked for Beaverton Nissan until he retired in 1995.  It was in Beaverton where he met Darla Sue Vincent and they were married in Lakeview on Sept. 30, 1989.  They moved to Lakeview in 1997.
Philip loved nature, music and making sure his yard was perfectly manicured.
He is survived by Wife, Darla of Lakeview; two nieces and three nephews of Canada.
A funeral service will be held at the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with interment in the New Pine Creek Cemetery.  Viewing will be at Desert Rose Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, March 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Julia Barry Reifel

Julia Barry Reifel, 89, passed away of natural causes in Port Orchard, Wash. on Sunday, March 1, 2015.
She was born in Lakeview on Sept. 30, 1925 to Michael and Eileene Barry.
Julia grew up on a ranch in Lake County and attended college at Oregon State University in Corvallis where she met and married “Charlie” Reifel.  She was married to Charlie for 58 years before his passing in 2003.
Julia was a loving mother and always loved being around children.  She poured her life into her seven children, Mike, Chuck, Pete, Nick, Barry, John and Mary.  From day care to teen club, she was always ready and willing to be involved in activities that would provide healthy activities for her children to participate in.  She was a den mother for the Boy Scouts for over 20 years, along with coaching kids teams, leading teen club, volunteering in the school kitchen, corralling pets, taxi driving to an infinite number of events, and refereeing countless squabbles and wrestling matches.  There was always food on the table, clothes in the dresser, and presents under the tree, no matter how many people were staying in the house.  Julia was mother to many more than her own children, sometimes offering her home to relatives and friends in need of food and shelter until one of life’s storms blew over.
Julia always fondly remembered her Lakeview roots and would spend hours telling stories of her childhood on the family ranch south of town. She visited Lakeview throughout her life and especially enjoyed the Lake County Round Up.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charlton Edward Reifel.
Julia is survived by: Sons, Michael of Silverton,  Harry Charles Reifel of Everett, Wash., Peter Reifel of Klamath Falls, Nick Reifel of Black Diamond, Wash., Barry Reifel of Yakima, Wash. and John Reifel of Federal Way, Wash.; Daughter Mary Reifel of Belfair, Wash.; Brothers Bill Barry and Jeremiah Barry of Lakeview; Sisters, Eileen McKee of St. Paul, Minn., Anne Shipstead of Arroya Grande, Calif. and Josephine Barry of The Dalles, along with 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Julia was laid to rest next to her husband at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery in Shoreline, Wash.

Lorraine Hazel Mulkey

Lorraine Hazel Mulkey, 93, died at the Lake District Long Term Care Facility on Wednesday, March 11, 2015.
Lorraine was born to Jack and Hazel (Simpson) Papke in Fresno, Calif. on Dec. 21, 1921.  She lived in Fresno until she was 12 years old when the family moved to Willow Ranch, Calif.  It was in Willow Ranch that she met the love of her life, Earl Mulkey and they were married in Reno, Nev. on July 1, 1939.  They made their home in Willow Ranch on Silk Stocking Lane.
In 1945 Lorraine moved to Lakeview where she worked for various retail businesses as a clerk until she became the agent for the O.L.C.C. store and held that position until she retired.  Her true career was fulfilling the position of “Homemaker”, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Lorraine was a very active member of the Lakeview First Presbyterian Church and served as a Deacon and a Sunday School teacher.
She was a very serious pinochle player and also enjoyed cooking, sewing and taking walks.
She was preceded in death by husband, Earl and daughter, Jennie Welch.
Lorraine is survived by daughter, Darlene Samples of Lakeview; grandchildren, Keith Welch, Jeff Samples, Roger Samples and Karen Dollarhide; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will he held at the Lakeview First Presbyterian Church on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, a luncheon will be held in the Church Fellowship Hall.  Private inurnment will be in the Sunset Park Cemetery.

Astrid Freund

Astrid Freund, 71, died at her home in Christmas Valley on Friday, March 20, 2015.
Astrid was born to Heinrich and Augusta (Lescheck) Freund in Hannoversch Munden, Germany on Dec. 8, 1943.  She came to America in 1965 and settled in San Diego, Calif., where she met and married her first husband, Greg Powers.  They moved to Portland in 1969.
Her marriage to Greg ended in a divorce in 1978.  She then moved to Redmond before relocating to Christmas Valley where she met and married Edward Miller.  She had lived in Christmas Valley for the past 20 years.
Astrid was an accomplished artist and attended art school in Buffalo, N.Y.  She sold her art through an art gallery on the Southern Oregon coast and also in Portland. 
Other than her art, Astrid thoroughly enjoyed riding her motorcycle and touring the Northwest part of the United States.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Edward Miller.
Astrid is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Debrah Powers of Gresham; son, Kevin Powers of Portland; daughter, Diana Doria of Orlando, Fla; grandchildren, Kelly and Alec Powers, and brother, Wilfried Freund of Germany
No public services will be held.

Barbara Jane (Cook) Heath

Barbara J. Heath, 86, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, in Bend. She had family by her side as her struggle with dementia and lung disease ended.
Barbara was born in Chilliwack, BC, Canada, to Harold and Nellie Cook. At age 9, her family moved to Portland, where she grew up in a neighborhood with close friends and family. Her future husband lived down the street. She married Eugene P. Heath, Jr. (Gene), Aug. 9, 1945. Gene’s career with Fish and Wildlife led them to Ruby Lake, Nev., Malheur Refuge, Burns, Lakeview, and Kenai, Alaska. They moved to Bend in 1985.
After Gene’s death, Barbara returned to Kenai in July 1998, to live with her daughter. Declining health and daughter’s retirement brought her back to Bend in 2013, to be closer to family.
Barbara spent her earlier years raising six children and learning how to succeed as a city girl living in remote areas and small towns. While in Alaska, she worked in the local hospital’s kitchen. She enjoyed the eleven years in Alaska with Gene and the many friendships made there. She was very active in TOPS and the Kenai Senior Center. Barbara enjoyed crafts, dancing, bell ringing, music, plays, and flowers. She was a voracious reader. She enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Mexico, a Caribbean cruise, and family gatherings in Las Vegas, Florida, Alaska and Oregon. Her family was very important to her, and she loved them all. She will be missed immensely and never forgotten.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Gene Heath, grandson Drew Heath, son-In-law Norman Samples and parents Harold and Nellie Cook.
Barbara is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Cathy, N.C.; Douglas and Barb, W. Va.; sons, David, Plush; Leilan, Lakeview; Richard, Kenai, Alaska and daughter Cheryl Samples, Bend. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Andrew, Cassandra, Dwayne, Dan, Marshall, Michael, Wayne and Casey Heath; Scott, Stephen and Stephanie Samples and Karma Carey; 16 great-grandchildren; brother George (Ray) Cook ; sisters, Nellie Henderson, Dorothy Cook, and sisters-in-law Peggy Denfeld, Margy Hunter, and Norma Cole. A memorial gathering of family will take place in June.

Phillip J. Parriott

Phillip J. Parriott, 30, unexpectedly died in an automobile accident in Northern California on Saturday, March 21, 2015.
He was born Sept. 20, 1984 to parents Sandra and Sam Parriott.
Phil loved his family, friends, ranching and radio. He loved his job and co-workers at KOH in Reno.
Phil is survived by his mother Sandra Parriott, his father Sam Parriott, of Adel, his sisters Jaime Parriott and Jillienne Parriott, his special nephews/co-brothers; Christian and Nathaniel Parriott and many aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.
A Funeral Service was held Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Reno.


Jean Pierson

Jean Pierson, 85, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in Fruitland, Idaho.
She was born Nov. 3, 1929 in Batesville, Ark. to Talmedge Winfield and Valla (Vincent) Cartwright.
Jean moved to Lakeview in 1949 where she met and married Ed Pierson. They were married 61 years.
They raised a family and remained in Lakeview becoming very active in the community. Jean worked many hours waiting tables and cooking. She managed The Indian Village Restaurant in Lakeview for some 15 years. She and Ed would work all day and then pull a second shift tending bar on the weekends. She later went to work for the Lake County School District managing the lunchroom. She retired from the school after 20 years. She was known for her great food, cookies and occasional pranks she would play on the teachers.
She was baptized and attended the Presbyterian Church in Lakeview and then West Valley Church in Fruitland. She loved to watch her son, Ed, sing on the worship team and especially listen to her Grandson Mathew deliver a sermon. At the time of her death, all of her children and their wives, grandchildren and great grandchildren had been baptized. This brought a great sense of joy and peace to Jean.
Jean had a way with making friends. Her door was always open. Most friends would come in and go straight to the fridge or coffee pot. She always had time to sit and visit.  She continued making friends when she moved to Fruitland. It wasn’t uncommon to find all the neighborhood kids on her front porch. Jean was very loyal and loved animals. She spent most of her later days holding and spoiling Grizz and Buddy, her canine friends.   She always looked forward to her calls for the “Lakeview updates” with her longtime friend Maurice Lepley. She also cherished her daily phone calls with her youngest granddaughter McKinzie. McKinzie said that Grandma didn’t always tell you what you wanted but rather what you needed to hear.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one very special grandson and two brothers.
Jean is survived by her three sons and daughters in-law, Gary and Leta Pierson of Bald Knob, Ark., Ed and Shawna Pierson of Fruitland, Idaho, and Tom and Esther Pierson of Keizer; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial graveside services were held Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 4 p.m. at Parkview Cemetery in New Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to West Valley Church Youth Ministries, 100 NW Third Ave., Fruitland, Ida. 83619.

Harold James Dyke

Harold Dyke, 88, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Lakeview Gardens Long-term Care.
Harold was born July 24, 1926 in Lakeview to Jim and Marie Dyke.  Harold was raised in Lakeview and later moved to Adel where he met his wife, Lynn Shomock. Harold served in WWII and returned to Adel to his parents’ ranch where he lived most of his life.
Harold was very creative and loved to work with leather and inventing whatever was needed to make life a little easier.  Harold was a “rock-hound” and enjoyed this hobby with his mother Marie.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Lynn Shomock.
Survivors include: nephews John and James Griener, great-niece Sandy Taylor, great-great-niece and nephew Anne Anderson and Zach Anderson and great-great-great-nieces and nephew Kaya, Ren and Nolan.
A celebration of life will be held for Harold Saturday April 25 at 2 p.m. at the home of Mike and Sandy Taylor, in Adel.

Elaine Forga

Elaine Forga, 55, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at her Lakeview Home.
Elaine was born April 2, 1959 in Tacoma, Wash. to Charles and Dorothy (Bradford) Hamilton.
Elaine moved to Lakeview in the fall of 1992.  She was married to Carl Forga on Feb. 6, 1994 at the Christian Life Center, Church of God in Lakeview. She and Carl were married for nearly 20 years.
Her favorite hobbies were reading, knitting, crocheting and singing.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Forga and her father, Charles Hamilton.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Hamilton of Tacoma, Wash.; step-mother, Marie Hamilton of Lakeview; brother Bill Bradford; brother-in-law Clyde Forga; sisters-in-law, Rada Jackson and Donna, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Elaine’s life will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gathering Place.  Burial will follow at the family plot at the Sunset Cemetery, and a   potluck luncheon will be held  at the Gathering Place following the burial.

George Taunt

George Taunt, 79, died in his Lakeview home Wednesday, April 15, 2015 of natural causes.
George was born Jan. 3, 1936 in Bemidji, Minn. to Ted and Irene Taunt.
The family moved to Lakeview and George attended local schools from 2nd grade until graduating from high school in 1955.  He served in the US Army for two years, stationed in the Central California Coast area near Monterey and Paso Robles.  He then attended Oregon Tech (now OIT) as a recipient of the Daly Fund.  He had interesting stories of his time at OTI, especially in the winter on the old campus which was housed in WW II hospital facilities “up on the hill” above Klamath Falls.
He returned to Lakeview after graduating with a degree in electronics.  He served as the local TV/radio repairman for ten years.
He then took a position as an emergency Fireman/Dispatcher.  In the position he dispatched 911 emergencies and went on fire calls.  He especially enjoyed hosting school children touring the Fire Hall and Emergency Services Facility.  After attending required training sessions, he shared the information with Lakeview’s Volunteer Firemen. He often helped with fundraisers for the Volunteer Firemen.  After 30 years in the position George retired, traveled some and remodeled houses.
He was well known to many friends, who will miss his almost daily visits to their establishments  and homes.  George was often on the scene to help someone in need, run errands, deliver food when they were ill, show up for dinner and just basically be a great friend. He was a lifetime member of the Lakeview Elk’s Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
George is survived by a cousin, Lee Gehring and many dear friends, especially Barry and  Margie Gray, Julie Koop Diani, Claudia Koop Stine and her husband Greylon.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at the Lakeview Elk’s Lodge on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Luncheon to follow the services.

Margaret Susan Orr Klopfer

Margaret Susan Orr Klopfer, 66, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015.
Susan was born April 20, 1948 in Salem, the middle of three daughters, to John and Betty Orr.
She attended grade school in Amity and Scio, and high school in Lakeview and Ely, Nev. Susan was a cheerleader, sorority sister and piano major at the University of Nevada in Reno.
Susan married Fred Klopfer near McGill, Nev. in 1972 and their son, Barry Klopfer, was born in 1973.
In addition to earning her B.A. in communications from Hanover College, Susan later went on to earn an M.B.A from Indiana Weslyan University.
Susan’s outgoing personality allowed her to live and travel all over the world with her husband while pursuing her passion for civil rights, making friends wherever she went.
She began her professional career as a journalist working for various newspapers and winning, several awards. She also taught software at the college and professional level. Writing books however, became her primary focus.  At the time of her death, she was working on a series of historical fiction novels based on her experience of living in Mississippi on the grounds of the former Parchman Prison. Her most recently completed book in the series was The Plan (2014).
Susan is survived by her husband, Fred of Cuenca, Ecuador; mother, Betty Orr of Albany; son, Barry, of Gallup, N.M. granddaughter, Grace, of Gallup;  sisters, Patricia Fua of Ely, Nev., Bette Smith of College Station, Texas as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on April 7, 2015 in Cuenca, Ecuador.

Jim R. Johnston

Jim R. Johnston, 88, died in his Lakeview home Thursday, March 26, 2015.
Jim was born Oct. 14, 1926 in Boring to Louis “Matt” and Leona (Radford) Johnston.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, brother George, wife Phyllis and infant son John Robert.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie and Debbie; daughter, Terri; sister Alvera Parker; grandchildren, Matt and wife Jillian, Aaron Becker, Shayla, Lynda; great-grandchildren, Linus, Jon and wife Sherayah, Lilly, Toni, Kayleena, Shaina, Jasmine and Alexis and great-great-grandson, Ryan James. Services will be conducted on the East Lawn of the Ousley Osterman Huffstutter Funeral
Chapel on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.  Services will be conducted by the VFW Layne Clifton Post 4070.

Raymond A. (Tennessee ) Simmons

Raymond A. (Tennessee ) Simmons, 86, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 in his home in Lakeview. Raymond was born in Erwin, Tenn. on April 2, 1929.
He married Lorine (Ennie) Foster in 1949.
Raymond and Ennie moved to Lakeview from Tennessee in 1952.  He was a timber faller for 45 years until his retirement.  He then worked as a government trapper for many years receiving several accommodations for outstanding service from the USDA.
Tennessee (Raymond) helped with ranch work for several ranchers.  Most of his cowboying was done for Con and Nora Flynn.  He was very good friends with Con and Nora.  He was considered part of their family.  Following the death of Con he spent time helping John  and continued cowboying.
In the spring, he would take the twins on one day and the other the next day and ride his horses from Plush to town. The horses were broken in and so were the twins when they got them to town.
He loved to go fishing as often as he could.  He knew every fishing hole from Denio to Klamath Falls.
One of his greatest joys in life was teaching his son Ray.   He taught him how to hunt, fish, camp and cowboy.  He helped him to become the special man he is today and was so  proud.  He did not leave the girls out, he took or should I say dragged them with him often.  He was a wonderful, giving and kind man with a tough guy exterior.  If you were his friend it was for life.
Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Ennie.
He is survived by his children, Ray and Kay Simmons and Sandy Simmons Rusconi, eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-granchildren.
Celebration of life was held Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Ousley Osterman Huffstutter Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Paul Friesen officiating.  The burial followed at the family plot at the Sunset Cemetery.  Following the burial there was a reception and potluck luncheon at the Eagle’s Lodge.

Lorraine M .Metzen

Lorraine M. Metzen, 92, died on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in Gresham.
Lorraine was born in Lead, S. D. to Dr. George C. and Mrs. Irene Fehliman where she lived until graduating from high school and completing her education at Miss Woods Normal School in Minneapolis, Minn.
She traveled to Oregon to teach and met her future husband, Paul G. Metzen.  They married Nov. 22, 1943 in St. Patrick Catholic Church with three children born in the next four years.
Lorraine was a homemaker with excellent skills in baking and cooking.  She also enjoyed card playing, walking, reading and had a witty sense of humor.  She was a lifetime Catholic and attended daily and Sunday morning Mass.
Four years ago she relocated to Sandy to be near family.  While experiencing a gradual decline in her health she continued her walking and quick wit to the end of her life.
She was preceded in death by spouse, Paul; son, Robert and two grandsons, Mark and Justin.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Marcia and Dennis Warren of Sandy and Patricia and George Hall of Mt. Angel; four grandchildren, Kimberly, Kristine, Daniel and Chelsea and five great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church in Lakeview.

Juanita Caudle Crane, 87, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
She was born on Oct. 8, 1928 in Mauldin, Ark.
She was preceded in death by husband, Duane Crane and parents, Horace (Dee) and Odie Caudle.
Juanita is survived by her son, Gary Crane of Scottsdale, Ariz.; daughter, Janet Anderson and three grandchildren; Nick, Stacey and Shane Anderson.

Veronica Marie Murphy, 87, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015.
She was born in Lake County on Oct. 18, 1927 to Maurice and Marie Murphy who ranched in the Warner Valley.
She attended Adel grade school before going on to graduate from high school at Sacred Heart Academy in Klamath Falls. Veronica earned her nursing degree from St. Joseph’s College in San Francisco, Calif. before returning to Lakeview to work for Dr. Kliewer and the Lake County Hospital. She also did nursing at the Bend hospital and Redmond Community hospital.
Veronica joined the Navy as a nurse in 1955. She was stationed in several places, including Virginia, Florida, Adak, Alaska, Bremerton, Wash. and California. Her family has fond memories of her coming home on leave to share her stories at the family gatherings.
Her favorite car “Brownie” was her treasured mode of transportation and the nieces and nephews all had to try it out while she was home. Long hair and red fingernails were a Veronica trademark. The nieces enjoyed the fingernail polish and lipstick “makeover sessions by Veronica” when she was home on leave from her navy duty.
She retired from the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander and made her home in Oregon City, where she worked as a private duty nurse at all of the hospitals in the Portland area, except one. She also worked with her brother Dr. Patrick Murphy DMD at his practice in Portland.
Veronica joined the Army Reserves to continue her education and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after giving service to our country over the years.
As her health declined, she moved to a retirement home in Redmond in 2008 where her nephew’s family; Monte and Linda Murphy have helped with her care.
Veronica is preceded in death by her parents Maurice and Marie Murphy, her brothers Gene Murphy, Joe Murphy, Patrick Murphy, John Murphy and her niece Julie Brown.
She is survived by 15 nieces and nephews, 21 great-nieces and nephews, seven first cousins and two sisters-in-law, Donna Murphy in Eugene and Patricia Murphy Wooddy in Grants Pass.

Morgan Joseph Verling

Morgan Joseph Verling, 91, died Sunday, May 10, 2015 in Lakeview.
He was born Nov. 15, 1923 to Mary O’Keeffe Verling and Francis Kavanaugh Verling in Lakeview. Morgan spent his early years at the family ranch west of Lakeview. In 1934 his family moved into town, to the house on E street where he remained until his final days.
In 1943, during his senior year of high school, he joined the Navy and saw much of the South Pacific while serving in World War II. After the war he studied cabinet making at what is now Oregon Technical Institute in Klamath Falls. He worked as a carpenter in Lakeview for many years.  Even after he retired from carpentry Morgan could always be found at his shop, where he still built many fine things and collected many items as well.
Morgan had a wry sense of humor and wit. He always had his own way of doing things. He was adamant about living on his own, which he did until the very end.
Morgan was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He served as Grand Leprechaun of the Irish Days Parade.
Morgan was preceded in death by his father Francis; mother, Mary; step-father Pat Fitzgerald; brothers, Walter, George, Francis, Bill and sister Mary.
He is survived by his sisters Julia Fitzgerald of San Francisco, Laura Shine of Lakeview and many nieces and nephews who love him dearly as he was a big part of their lives.
Holy Rosary Services will be Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Preston Ream, 87, died on Sunday, April 26, 2015 surrounded by family.
He was born to Archie and Nellie Ream Sr. April 5, 1928.
Preston is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Timmy and Debbie Ream; daughters, Vickie Ream and Sandy Albertson; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Linda Ream; grandchildren, Adam and Nikki Albertson, Calvin and Megan Jones, Jacob Ream and great-grandchildren, Hunter and Cheyenne Albertson.
A private memorial will follow at a later date.
At his request, in lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to Lakeview Disaster Unit and/or Klamath County Fire District No. 1.
