Roy G. Anderson, 85, died at his Care Center in Bend on Thursday, March 13, following a lengthy illness.
Roy was born Sept. 16, 1928 in Fort Bidwell, Calif. to Martin and Nellie (Godfrey) Anderson.
Roy was raised and educated in Plush. He was married to Darlene Bass in Reno, June 26, 1948. The couple ranched and lived in Plush, following their marriage.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife Darlene who died Dec. 29, 2011.
Roy is survived by his sons Tom Anderson of Plush and Jerry Anderson of Wilsonville, daughter and son-in-law Diana and Perry Watson of Plush, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
There will be a private internment and a celebration of Life service will be announced at a later time.
Contributions in memory of Roy may be made to the Warner Valley EMT’s.
