Glenn Clinton Perkey, 74, of Bend, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, of natural causes.
Glenn, known to many as “Clint”, was born on May 18, 1941, in Seaside, the son of Glenn and Grace (Shelley) Perkey. He was a 1959 graduate of Cottage Grove High School. Glenn spent his early career in the retail business. His entrepreneurial spirit later led him to be a rancher, logger, timber broker and real estate investor.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clyde and step-daughter, Gloria Rutledge.
Glenn is survived by: his wife, Diane of Bend; sons, Doug of Cottage Grove and Justin of Bend; step-son, John Forney of Visalia, Calif.; daughter, Karen Williams of Drain; step-daughter, Jodie Hanan of Springfield; sister, Sharon Brainard; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at the Redmond Christian Church in Redmond.
